________________________________ From: Ranweiler, Jean M (MN14) [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Monday, October 29, 2007 7:50 AM To: mou-net at moumn.org Subject: Black-bellied Whistling-Duck in Hennepin County Sunday Oct. 28, 2007 we located a Black-bellied Whistling-Duck at Anderson Lakes in Eden Prairie/Bloomington (The Anderson Lakes Park entrance just west of Hwy169) We observed the duck from 4:40 to 5:30 p.m. in the small pond filled with the dead tree snags located by following the main tarred path up the hill and then the grass-trodden trail leading down to the pond on the downside of the hill (hope the directions are O.K.) Duck was sleeping on a log in the water on the left side of the pond.
