Birded Crex Meadows (Grantsburg, WI) for about four hours today. We saw 75 Rough-legged Hawks compared with only 17 Red-tailed Hawks, 7 Bald Eagles, 6 Northern Harriers and 4 Northern Shrikes. There are still MANY, MANY Sandhill Cranes around. Very few ducks, some Trumpeter Swans and a plethora of Canada Geese. Jen Vieth
