With pretty much all of the lakes in the area frozen now, seeing which waterfowl got forced into the river below the power plant was irresistable. Here's what I found: - Lots of C Geese and Mallards - 2 A Blackducks - 1 A Coot - 6 C Goldeneyes - 1 Pied-billed Grebe Also for the day, the flock of Bohemian Waxwings in Bovey is still around. I stopped by my parents' home near Grand Rapids and saw 3 Northern Cardinals (2 males, 1 female) and 2 Dark-eyed Juncos.
