While scouting for Saturday's Sherburne Refuge CBC this morning was surprised by two Great Blue Herons in the marsh by the CR 1 & 87 intersection.
Only other birds of significance were two Common Ravens along CR 5 (they are relatively consistent currently between the CR 9 intersection and Sand Dunes State Park near the western section of CR 4); Ann Lake was quieter this morning, few Robins and Waxwings (perhaps due to a conspicuous shrike).
