Greetings from the Straight River in Faribault:
There were FIVE woodpeckers at the feeders today: Downy, Hairy, Red-bellied,
Northern Flicker and Pileated. I haven't seen a Yellow-bellied Sapsucker for
several years. But one was here on January 1st several years ago. Saw my first
Brown Creeper of the year at the Maple Lawn Cemetery this afternoon.
