I found the swans in Homer at the intersection of Hwy 61 and county road 15 in the river. I was able to put a scope on then and could not find any signs of captivity. However, I could not get a good look at their legs to see if there were bands on them.
Also, there was a lone Canvasback amongst the Mallards by the interstate bridge in Winona. Josh Obrecht Winona
