I saw a Townsend's Solitaire Wednesday late morning and today early morning at 
the same spot on Norell Ave just north of Stillwater. As you head north on 
Norell Ave (aka hwy 55) from hwy 96 the Stillwater Township Hall is on your 
right (Norell Ave is Owens St (aka hwy 5) in Stillwater, name changes at hwy 
96).  Just north of the town hall  parking lot is a driveway.  Directly across 
the street from this driveway (the west side of the road) is an oak tree with 
most of the leaves still attached, the bird has been perched on the top of this 
tree both times. 

Great looks from the Township hall parking lot.  Buffy eye ring and wing bars 
were easily seen.
