At 4:15 PM today, the snowy owl was sitting beside the runway farthest to the east-southeast, across from the end turn-around by the FedEx Building, on Cargo Road. This appeared to be the same heavily marked bird that was present at the end of December. She had flown in from a southwesterly direction, and settled with plumped up feathers right at the edge of the tarmac.
