Spoke with the homeowner (Troy) a few minutes ago, he has no problems with birders coming to view the Varied Thrush (male) in Princeton.
Take 169 to the Princeton area, then 95 east to the stoplights in Princeton. Proceed east a short distance to 75th Street (CR 1), then north on 75th a bit over a mile. The bird is coming to the house/tray feeder on the west (left) side of the street at fire sign 2465. If you come to Abneys' junkyard, you've gone a couple of houses too far. One can either park on the roadside (frankly had great binocular views from there) or in the driveway. However, be careful to pull far enough into the driveway that you won't block the neighbors' access. He reported that it's been sitting at the feeders for much of the day. I would recommend not turning around in the junkyard driveway. Enjoy! Al Schirmacher Princeton, MN Mille Lacs & Sherburne Counties
