We had a Northern Saw Whet owl sitting on the phone wires in the alley last night from about 7:00-9:00 pm. This is in South Minneapolis in the alley between Park and Columbus between 54th and 55th. I'm not usually out there at this time, so I don't know if it's a habit for the birds or not. It could have been hunting mice at my feeder. We're a block east of Diamond Lake and I've seen them there, but rarely. Robin Berry
