I spotted a NORTHERN SHRIKE at the Coon Rapids Dam Regional Park along Coon Creek on Sunday January 27. Seems like there have been many sightings of NORTHERN SHRIKEs in the Metro area this winter. Also observed a very active beaver both Saturday and Sunday in Coon Creek where it empties into the Mississippi.
