A pair of MUTE SWANS was in Winona County on the 31st, along U.S. Highway 61 about two miles south of Winona. A SNOWY OWL is still at the Minneapolis / St. Paul airport and is best looked-for from the southwest corner of the Glycol recycling building, which is the first building on the left when exiting the first tunnel on Cargo Road. Another Snowy was still in Dakota County on the 31st, about a quarter of a mile east of Emery Avenue and half a mile south of 170th Street. On the 27th, a NORTHERN HAWK OWL was reported along Aitkin County Road 8 just west of state highway 65. There is still a TOWNSEND'S SOLITAIRE at Ann Lake campground at Sherburne NWR in Sherburne County.
