During a drive across eastern Dakota County yesterday (4th) P.M. there was a
significant northward movement of Bald Eagles. Most were adults and were seen
in every landscape, i.e. rivers, towns, rural. To me, this eagle movement
signals the beginning of spring migration. Waterfowl will follow in about one
week, weather depending. Robins and Horned Larks have pulsed like yo-yos all
winter.
