Driving back from a long weekend in Chicago yesterday (Weds.), we spotted TURKEY VULTURES in all three states we traversed. The local TV was seen over I-94 just after crossing the St. Croix back into the Twin Cities late in the day. And how great it was to see solo GREAT BLUES here and there along the route.
This morning we heard the welcomed chatter of CHIPPING SPARROWS as we stepped outdoors after breakfast.
