There are 2 swans on Silver Lake in Virginia, at the north end by Seppi. I saw no yellow and no bulb, so think they are Trumpeters. Between 2 and 3pm, still there now just after 3. There was one here March 19. These are the only swans I have seen here. There was also a Bald Eagle sitting on the ice at Bailey's Lake - which is still ice- covered but looked thin and cracked. Lots of gulls on both lakes, still not many geese. Anne Bier
