They're coming in to central MN: Friday 4/4 - Hermit Thrush, Ruby-crowned Kinglet
Thursday 4/3 - Northern Pintail, Canvasback, Redhead, Blue-winged Teal, Green-winged Teal, Tundra Swans, Belted Kingfisher, Eastern Phoebe, Fox Sparrow, Pied-billed Grebe Wednesday 4/2 - Gadwall, American Wigeon, Common Merganser, American Coot Tuesday 4/1 - Northern Shoveler, Ring-necked Duck, Lesser & Greater Scaup (couple, bit of a surprise here), Ruddy Duck (18 duck species at Princeton Sewage Ponds for the week - only missing American Black Duck & Red-breasted Merganser among anything normal). Still short on geese (Canada only, not even a Cackling yet). Few Ruffed Grouse drumming in the refuge. Sandhills everywhere. No shorebirds. Sparrows still a little light.
