The Friends group from Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge, Zimmerman, Minnesota, was honored over the weekend when it was named group of the year at the annual Friends meeting. Over 200 Friends chapters offer financial and volunteer support to national wildlife refuges. The meeting was held at the National Conservation Training Center in near Washington, DC.
