Hello birders! A quick stop-by at the dam today: Dozen or more Common Loons (above the dam) Osprey, eating a fish atop a pole (hurray! the old guy is back!) small flock Fox Sparrows MANY Yellow-Rumped Warblers two sets of paired Cormorants (in flight)
At the rookery: many sitting Herons Red-Tailed Hawk flew overhead (I STILL haven't seen that nest) Two Ospreys calling in flight-(I'm assuming it was the old guy in pursuit of a female) Was a great quick visit-I was waaaaaay under dressed!
