Found a Black-crowned Night-Heron at the Tammel Springs ELC tonight at sunset. Take highway 63 S past Spring Valley. Take a left (East) on Fillmore County 14 approximately 2 miles to Fillmore County 114. Take a right (South) on 114 approximately ? mile and Tammel Springs is on your right. There was also a Great Egret in a farm pond off Fillmore County 12. There was also a pretty good selection of waterfowl for Fillmore County at Geothite WMA (see the DNR website for directions) and both eastern & western meadowlarks.
