Chuck Krulas, John Hockema, Bob Ekblad, and I found a Cattle Egret at the south landfill reservoir in Rochester this morning. Other first of the year birds for me were Barn Swallow and Savannah Sparrow. We also saw a big group of Bonaparte's Gulls fly over, about 10 Horned Grebe's on the reservoir, and a flyover Greater Yellowlegs.
