Tonight at 7:30 there were 89 Common Loons on Staring Lake, Eden Prairie, as well as 6 Horned Grebes and 2 Red-necked Grebes. Also 1 speedboat pulling a water skier! The Horned Grebe flock at the Purgatory Creek wetlands was up to 39 birds. At Diamond Lake, Minneapolis there were 26 Common Loons (4:30 PM).
