STOP THE PRESSES! Call it a birder's Freudian slip...or a feathered faux pas...or even wishful thinking--but all in all, you can call it a MISTAKE! My brain was saying Great Egret and my fingers typed Snowy!!! Of course, the birds roosting at the south end of Goose Lake last evening were Great Egrets...still a beautiful sight! Mea culpa for the error, and a special thanks to Steve Weston for back-channeling.
