Killdeer, Yellowlegs and $45 in gas Ok, so the weather was great (sunny, cloud free, and mid 60's) and I had a great time with my fiance but the birding was horrible.
Salt Lake: Killdeer - 2 Misc Dabbling Ducks and Canada Goose RW Blackbirds Grackle Big Stone NWR Auto Loop: Grackles Robins Coots Other Wetlands and Sewage Ponds: Bufflehead Redhead RB Gull Yellowlegs (both sp.) RN Duck Honestly, the highlight of the day was a FOY Vesper Sparrow and listening to a very loud chorus of frogs at the Auto Loop.
