Observed a Snowy Egret yesterday (April 23, about 11:00 am) on a shallow lake on the south side of County Road 64, 1/4 mile west of Hwy 21. My map calls this Peterson Lake. It was on the north shoreline next to the road, with several Great Egrets. Unmistakable yellow feet when it flushed with the Great Egrets.
