A pair of Surf Scoters was observed at about 9:00AM today while birding at Hok-Si-La Park, Goodhue County. They were with a raft of Ruddy Ducks. They were very near the shore when first spotted, and swam further out as we watched them. When we looked for them again in the same area at about 1:30PM, we were unable to relocate them.
