seen along the river's edge trail, at the base of the bluff below the campground in mid-afternoon, the golden-wiged warbler was foraging in the upper and mid-canopy of trees on the riverbank. It was just stationary enough, fo r short periods, for Don Harrington, Sue Plankis, and I to confirm all its signature marks.
Also present were several winter wrens, singing. One of them granted us a short "audience", letting us view it while it sang.
