Yesterday (Wed) between 4pm and 8pm at Wood Lake and Bass Ponds, I found 13 species of warbler:
Wood Lake: 11 species / 4-6pm American Redstart - 5 YR Warbler - 200+ Palm Warbler - 50+ Northern Waterthrush - 1 Common Yellowthroat - 1 (FOY) Yellow Warbler - 8 Black-throated Green - 1 (Lifer) Nashville - 3 (FOY) Tennessee - 2 Orange-crowned - 2 Black and White - 2 Also of interest: Blue-headed Vireo, Broad-winged Hawk, Blue-gray Gnatcatcher Bass Ponds: 8 spcies / 6-8pm YR Warbler - 50+ Palm Warbler - 5 Yellow Warbler - 4 Nashville - 4 Tennessee - 1 Blackburnian - 1 (very bright orange male) (FOY) Northern Parula - 1 (FOY) Black and White - 1 Also of interest: Gray-cheeked Thrush, Lincoln's Sparrow -Derek Bakken Minneapolis, MN www.flickr.com/photos/dobak ornitholature.blogspot.com -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
