The prevailing opinion is yellow-throated vireo and as I think about it, I would have to agree! The bill is right, but it was a very fast mover and I just got a fleeting glimpse -- the photo just happened to turn out fairly well. There were warblers everywhere (Lake Vadnais) so didn't even think vireo! But as I think back on this particular bird, I think it was a bit larger than a blackburnian. The warbler count for Vadnais this morning was 11 -- already have plans to return there tomorrow.
