Finally, Lake Byllesby has some shorebirds. Jim Otto and I found about 150 
birds and 11 species. Everything is a looooong way off due to still high water. 
Species included:

Ruddy Turnstone
Wilson's Phalarope
Dunlin
Baird's
Semipalmated Plover
Willet

Also

16 Caspian Tern
2 Common Tern
~20 Forster's Tern

The lake level is typically raised starting May 15 to accomodate crop planting. 
So shorebird conditions may not last long.
