This afternoon I checked out the Gaylord sewage ponds accessed on the
south side of town on CR 67 east of Hwy. 22 in Sibley County. The best
find was a Ruddy Turnstone in the NW corner of the southernmost pond.
Other shorebirds present:

Greater Yellowlegs
Lesser Yellowlegs
Spotted Sandpiper
Dunlin (many)
Short-billed Dowitcher (many)
Wilson's Phalarope (many)
Killdeer

Also there were about 50 Black Terns flying around this same pond,
with several Common Terns mixed in.
