The Brant in Duluth was seen today (Wednesday, May 21) at about 1:00 p.m. The bird was alone foraging on the large lawn in front of the stage at Bayfront Park. Some small children chased after the bird and it flew to the water, but it did not leave the area. My impression was that it is no less, or more, tolerant of humans than any Canada Goose you might see in similar circumstances.
