This might have been a good year to beat the Minnesota Warbler Big Day record (from memory, believe it's 26, but couldn't find the data on MOU's site this afternoon).
Had 23 last Thursday (5/15) on a relaxed Sherburne & Mille Lacs trip - which did not include Black-throated Blue, Pine, Bay-breasted, Cerulean, Louisiana Waterthrush, Kentucky, Mourning or Hooded - a run from Murphy-Hanrehan (or Mankato) north to Kathio/Hennepin might have worked. Noted quite a number of 20+ reports this year that could have done the same. Hmmm, maybe 2009.... (or an early September run?). Of course, will they "clump up" like this late spring?
