A BURROWING OWL was still in Clay County on May 30th, in a development area near Village Green Drive in eastern Moorhead. On the 3rd, a YELLOW-BREASTED CHAT was along the bike trail in Baker Park Reserve, Hennepin County. It was found just south of the Oak Knoll group camp close to where a bike trail spur crosses under Hennepin County Road 19. On May 31st, a first spring male SUMMER TANAGER was in Forest Hill Cemetery in Owatonna, Steele County. The bird was in the center of cemetery between the two access roads south of the maintenance building. Interesting was the June 3rd BLUE GROSBEAK seen at the Louisville Swamp, in Scott County. From the parking area, take the trail at the north end of the lot going west. It was east of where the tail splits. On June 2nd, a GREAT-TAILED GRACKLE was not far from here in a cattail marsh along Scott County Road 10 about a mile east of Jordan. The next scheduled update of this tape is Thursday, June 12th 2008. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
