Hello: Earlier this morning I found two Cattle Egrets in breeding plumage in a pasture foraging around (you guessed it) some cattle. The pasture is located on the east side of Hwy. 4, just a few tenths of a mile south of the intersection of County Rd. 22. This is about 5 miles south of Sleepy Eye. Interestingly, Ron Erpelding found a Cattle Egret in this same pasture back in September, 2006.
