Last night I went up to County Road 18 to look for the Great Gray Owls that have been around there resently. Although I didn't find the owls, I did find a BLACK-CROWNED NIGHT-HERON. The bird was on Pietz's Road, 1 and 2/10ths miles north of C.R. 18. The bird was in the ditch but flew up into a tree right above the ditch and was still sitting there when I left. Warren Nelson
