I found a very large flock of White-winged Crossbills at the Astrid Lake Trail that goes south from Lake Jeanette (Echo Trail, County Road 116) I visually saw a flock of 20, but there were many more calling from the trees. There were also some Juncos mixed in.
Lots of Pine Siskins are visiting my thistle feeders - I'm guessing that up to 50 birds are coming in to the feeders. Wow, I just bought 50 pounds of Thistle Seed - lots of $$$.
