There is an adult pair of loons on Cedar Lake. I saw them yesterday while kayaking. Does anyone know if they nested on the lake? Many people must be aware of these birds. didn?t see an immatures with the adults. I don?t think they could be in transit to south this early.
I am aware of the pair on Lake Vadnais north of St Paul.which I believe has been the southern-most nesting pair in the state.
