I have been searching for shorebirds in anticipation of the shorebird workshop
this upcoming weekend. The migration is coming along well with lots of
shorebirds in the limited available habitat.

No great rarities but the following are around in Big Stone and Lac Que Parle
Co.: Lesser Yellowlegs; Greater Yellowlegs; Least Sandpiper; Semi-Palmated
Sandpiper;Solitary Sandpiper; Spotted Sandpiper; Avocet; White rumped
Sandpiper; Baird's Sandpiper; Wilson's Phalarope; Pectoral Sandpiper;
Semi-palmated Plover; & Upland Sandpiper.
