I had several nice looks at a male Summer Tanager this morning at the Chamberlain Woods SNA in Le Seur County. The bird was approximatley 250 yards N/NE of the parking area. The woods will open up into an overgrown clearing and the bird was frequenting the west and north sides of it. Chamberlain woods is on the Minnesota River between the towns of Le Seur and Ottawa.
