The title sadly says it all. Thanks a lot, Mr. Merlin. (Please note that for those trying to access Jirik Sod Farms in Farmington later this year, about 1/2 a mile of Chippendale Ave. is closed. Take Byscane Ln. down to 200th instead.)
Jim Otto kindly pointed out a mudflat area in Hastings. (just off of 10th St., near the Vermillion River.) Chad Gustafson and I found 8 shorebird species there. While there was nothing out of the ordinary, it was a sweet little spot. Hennepin Co: In Golden Valley on Aug. 20, new migrants included Canada Warbler and O-S Flycatcher. The next day yeilded a B-B Cuckoo, and this morning I finally found a FOS Tennesee Warbler. Good birding!
