This evening a calling Whimbrel flew overhead at Lighthouse Point in Two Harbors. It was heading southwest down the lakeshore.
A Solitary Sandpiper and two Semipalmated Sandpipers were at the ponds near the golf course clubhouse. A mixed migrant flock was at the Flood Bay wayside rest, including Tennessee Warblers, Nashville Warblers, a Northern Parula, and an Empidonax flycatcher. Jim Lind Two Harbors
