I checked out Purgatory Creek (Eden Prairie, Hennepin Co.) this evening. Bird
numbers have appeared to change since Tuesday.
On the middle island there were several hundred gulls; about 1/3 were
Franklin's, plus <10 Caspian Terns. No Boni's nor other terns.
7 duck species present (comprising of ~150+ ducks), including one N. pintail.
About 1/3 of the ducks were Am. Wigeons.
Also FOS Yellow-rumped Warbler. A few Common Nighthawks as well.
No raptors, pelicans, nor shorebirds.
Hopefully some of Wisconsin Point's birds will drift a little westward this
weekend...good birding!
