A Vesper Sparrow (only a rare/casual species in N E Minn) was at Park  
Point in Duluth this morning: the location was along the E edge of the  
large open area on the bay side of the Point at 13th St. Otherwise,  
the birding at Park Point was relatively dull, with few passerines in  
the woods, no shorebirds on the sections of beach I scanned, and  
virtually nothing on L Superior.  Kim Eckert
