If you go looking for the rock wren, which I did not see, check things out around the boat landing in the campground area. Located and photographed a Blue Gray Gnatcatcher there recently. Pretty cool bird for Cook County. Also saw five american golden plovers in the campground as well. Enjoy the fall. Shawn Z.
