The 2009 Detroit Lakes Festival of Birds will be held May 14 - 17. The keynote Speaker is Richard Crossley, photographer and author of 'The Shorebird Guide'. This year we will highlight shorebirds and have some new trips planned to increase opportunities to see shorebirds using some newly established prairie wetlands.
