Henslow's Sparrow, Sherburne Wildlife Refuge, Auto Tour, Prairie Trail, about 50 feet in, top of the shorter brown grasses.
10 species of sparrows on a quick jaunt through today on the Auto Tour - more detailed checking would probably have yielded 13-14 species, since missed Harris', White-crowned (two normal migrants around this date) and Savannah, among others. Surprised earlier this week by a late Grasshopper Sparrow. Eastern Meadowlarks were singing throughout the drive, which sounds funky after month plus of silence. Good birding to all!
