Quick summary of Mille Lacs County trip: * Pacific Loon, Mille Lacs Lake, Hillcrest stop near southwestern edge of lake
* Barrow's Goldeneye (probable) still present on Wigwam Bay near the rocks - flight revealed similarities to Sibley's Barrow's * Red-throated Loon, Garrison (fish pull off). So the main highlights of the last 2-3 weeks still remain here on day one of November. In addition: * 18 waterfowl in general area, including 15 ducks - best viewing at Interpretive Center in Kathio State Park. Snow Buntings have greatly diminished (only five, last week 200-300 total). Good birding to all! Al Schirmacher Princeton, MN Mille Lacs & Sherburne Counties
