With the one hour time delay for sunrise, I walked the Blue Mound Trail in dawn, able to start bird sighting at 6:45am, by 7:04am located the Black-Backed Woodpecker on the northern edge of the spruce plantation (where the trail goes right toward the edge of Buck Lake). It was about 100 yards w. down along the firebreak where some trees are tipped over, others with the typical scaling flakes of this bird's presence. mjb -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
