John Hockema just called to report that he and others were observing 26 White-winged Crossbills at Hok-Si-La Park in Goodhue County. The birds were feeding on the cones of White Spruce.
Looks like southern MN is going to experience a crossbill invasion this winter. Bob Dunlap
