It appears that the airport may be hosting at least two Snowy Owls.
When I arrived at the airport around 1:30, there was a SNOW sitting
where Linda Sparling described. It resembled
the one Rob and I had seen and photographed a few weeks ago. However,
the gentleman who pulled in behind me, and to whom I pointed out the
bird, said it was much darker than one he'd seen a couple of days ago,
which was very white, and had been sitting between the runway and the
fence over by the end turn-around at the FedEx facility. He did say
that he'd been unable to locate the lighter bird today, but spotting
any of them out there seems challenging!
